Social Media

Social media accounts require planning, resources and collaboration, as well as knowledge of UF rules and regulations. All official HHP social media accounts will require approval from the HHP’s Communications Director and UF’s social media team.

Before submitting a social media account request, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is there a reason you cannot leverage one of HHP’s existing social media channels?
  • What are your goals and how will your channel support this mission?
  • Who is your audience?
  • Do you have enough strong content for your proposed social media platform?
  • Do you have sufficient staff time and resources to manage the platform?

All social media accounts must follow UF’s social media policy.

If you are interested in developing a social media account for a research study, please review closely the Office of Research Guidelines on Recruiting Participants Using Social Media.

The Pulse Newsletter

Please include contact information and/or a link to a website for more details. Do not include any text formatting (bold, italics, underline), bullets or special characters. Submissions with grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, incomplete submissions or those which do not adhere to the submission guidelines will not be accepted.  Submissions that are not date specific (i.e. have no application deadline or event date) will run for 2 weeks and then be removed.  Submission does not guarantee posting.
