APK Graduate Programs
Study immediate and lasting effects of pharmacological, aging, exercise, rehab and disease related effects on motor performance and cardiovascular, muscle and brain physiology.
Mastering a Better Quality of Life and Movement
Applied Physiology & Kinesiology (APK) focuses on the quality of life and the many aspects of human movement. Significant research contributions, education and services are related to the study of physiological and psychological responses to vigorous and relevant physical activities.
In addition, movement skills, capabilities, and ways to improve and maintain health are studied as they relate to the typical person, as well as to disabled persons and high-level athletes.
Concentration Areas
The Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology program provides specialized concentrations with the flexibility to study on campus or online. Choose from these concentrations:
- Physiology of exercise
- Athletic injury prevention
- Biomechanics
- Motor control and learning
- Sport and exercise psychology
The APK M.S. offers both thesis and non-thesis options, allowing you to tailor your degree to your career goals. Whether you’re a recent graduate, a working professional or looking to advance your expertise, explore our graduate programs and find the path that’s right for you.
Thesis and Non-Thesis Options
