Biography
Dr. Amber Emanuel joined the HEB faculty as a Lecturer in fall of 2016. She received her Ph.D. in 2013 from Kent State University in experimental psychology with an emphasis in social and health psychology and then completed a post-doctoral appointment with the University of Florida Southeast Center for Research to Reduce Health Disparities in Oral Health.
She has taught undergraduate psychology courses, including quantitative methods and health psychology. Her research uses social psychological theories to formulate and study effective health messages for eliciting health behavior change.
