Artificial Intelligence & DATA ANALYTICS IN THEM Undergraduate Certificate
This certificate trains students in the applications of artificial intelligence and data analytics in the tourism, hospitality & event management (THEM). Students will have the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and practice in areas such as artificial intelligence trends, analytic skills, machine learning concepts, technology applications, opportunities and challenges in industries.
Certificate Requirements
- Current UF undergraduates
- 2.0 overall GPA
- Open to students in any major
- Total credits: 9
Required Coursework
- Artificial Intelligence Revolutions and Applications in Tourism, Hospitality and Events: HFT 4442 (3 credits)
- Smart Cities, Attractions and Theme Parks: HFT 4746 (3 credits)
Elective Coursework
Select one elective from the following course list:
- Data Mining with Social Data: LEI 4905 (3 credits)
- GIS and Spatial Analysis for Tourism and Social Data: HFT 4446C (3 credits)
