Michelle Park (BSREC ’76) has over 35 years of experience in the public park and recreation profession having worked at the local level in Palm Beach County and the City of Gainesville, at the state level with the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association and the Maryland Recreation and Parks Association and at the national level with the National Recreation and Park Association.
She has been a volunteer at the local, state and national level on boards and committees and is truly passionate about explaining the benefits of parks, recreation and cultural affairs to all who will listen! It Starts in Parks! As a Gator giving back, Michelle lead the Annual Swamp Scramble Golf Tournament for the Department of Tourism, Recreation and Sport Management raising funds for student travel and professional involvement in state and national conferences.
