Biography

Dr. Christine Wegner is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Sport Management. Her research centers on sport for development (SFD) and sport for social change, specializing in program evaluation.

She has worked with both local and national industry partners to solve problems relevant to stakeholders in the SFD space.

She teaches several courses in the department, including Social Issues in Sport and Management and Leadership in Sport.

Dr. Wegner earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Tourism and Sport from Temple University.
