Biography

Dr. Brown is a board-certified and licensed Athletic Trainer and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) Program at the University of Florida. He also serves as the program’s Clinical Education Coordinator and oversees the Sports Performance Concentration.

Dr. Brown holds multiple certifications in strength and conditioning and teaches courses for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He has expertise in performance enhancement, therapeutic modalities and athletic training educational methodology.

He has received multiple ATAF awards, including the 2018 ATAF President’s award and the 2022 Educator of the Year Award. In 2022, he was also named the SEATA Educator of the Year.
