Combination B.S. and M.S. Degree Program
The B.S./M.S. combination degree program allows qualified students to earn both a bachelor degree in Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management and master’s degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management with 9 credit hours of graduate coursework counting towards both degrees. This program may allow students to complete both degrees within a five-year time period rather than the usual six years.
Interested students should meet with an academic advisor early in their undergraduate career to determine eligibility. View the application for the combined degree program (PDF). All applications must be sent to Bobbi Cabaret.

“The pivotal moment in my collegiate career was deciding to apply for the combination degree program within THEM. Not only did my proficiency increase in my undergraduate coursework, but I began to clearly visualize my career beyond graduation. More importantly, this graduate program fostered a supportive environment with thought provoking discussion that inspired my continued academic career. I found this to be an economical way to transition into my graduate degree while providing me an additional edge when joining the workforce. Not only was I able to apply for mid-level positions, but I was able to secure a higher starting salary—advancement has also been more obtainable.”
– Brianna Blassneck, THEM Combination Degree Alumna
